We stay here at least once a year with our camping club. This year we stayed here on the first weekend of June. We were in a fifth wheel.this is a nice little campground close to I-57 easy on and off. Its quiet .there is really not much to do around here shopping is about 20 minutes away all major stores. The pool is nice & clean. They seem to have trouble keeping up with the day to day things that must be done, the campsites were a messy. I mean littered with bottle caps, cigarette butts, food etc. When I advised a worker about the egg shells left on the site across from mine he said oh yea I seen them yesterday. He went on his way without cleaning the site. The owners are nice & helpful they are doing good. The help needs an adjustment. This koa has a nice playground.all in all we always go back and will again.
We stayed here the month of March in a fifth wheel on site #2. The staff is very helpful and nice, they never treat you like you are a bother to them. The place is very clean. The hot tub is hot and clean. Pool could use a pool heater due to cool nights. Sites are roomy for this part of TEXAS. Near all major stores. Great fishing from shore or boat. We stayed here in 2005 and came back in 2007. We will return.
We stayed at Breeze Lake Campground for the month of February in 2007. First of all the staff was wonderful. They all were helpful with things they could control. This campground is in a bad neighborhood. Gun shots on street behind the camper in the middle of the night. Speeding cars on the same street. Loud music. When it rains this place turns into a mud hole they don't seem to worried about filling the holes. They have wi-fi but I had to go to the office to use it. We were advised to lock everything up at night.there is an extra charge for using the shower. There is nothing for kids to do but it is close to WAL-MART. We will not be going back to breeze lake or Brownsville ever.
We stayed at Cloud Nine Campground in January of 2007 in a fifth wheel. What a gem of a campground. Located on the top of a hill it has a great view of surrounding area. The owners are on site and are very nice. Sites are roomy. Cloud Nine Campground is close to HOTSPRINGS. There is lots to do in the area. I did not see a playground. We have stopped here before on the way south. We will stop again.
